State & Territory Carriage Requirements

New legislation applies to the carriage of distress beacons in New South Wales (from 1 July 2008) and Queensland (from 1 November 2008). Carriage and registration of 406 MHz distress beacons for all other States and Territories will be compulsory and enforced from 1 February 2009.
